LAGUNAS DE RUIDERA

Located on the border between Albacete and Ciudad Real, in the Campo de Montiel, the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park is an oasis of water and vegetation. At its highest point, the Cabeza de San Pedro, you will find the Castle of Rochafrida and the Cave of Montesinos.

The park features sixteen lagoons spread over 4,000 hectares, forming cascades and torrents. From the Blanca Lagoon springs to the lower lagoons and the Peñarroya Reservoir, the park is a vibrant, lush environment, particularly in spring when the water flows abundantly, forming small waterfalls and attracting numerous water birds.
