Los Batanes, natural surroundings
Camping Los Batanes, located in the heart of the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park, opened its doors in 1981.
Since then, many customers—families, friends, couples, retirees—have visited and enjoyed our facilities.
We have become the ideal place for a wonderful camping holiday.
The campsite covers approximately 83,000 m² and includes various camping and accommodation areas, along with other services.
The plots are situated in a large deciduous woodland, providing coolness and shade during summer.
The terrain is flat and covered with gravel to prevent dust.
Campers can choose between plots enclosed by hedges for a more intimate stay or open plots with a traditional layout.
Our Plots
THE RIGHT CHOICE MAKES YOUR STAY UNFORGETTABLE
The site offers 270 plots of various sizes (approximately 40 m² to 110 m²) to meet the needs of any client who visits us. Each plot is unique with specific characteristics.
All plots are equipped with electricity connections of 6 amps, and some also have water and drainage within the plot boundaries.
Most of the streets surrounding the campsite are wide enough for comfortable manoeuvring.
You will find drinking water fountains and areas for rubbish collection and glass recycling throughout the site.
The items we provide and install must stay within the plot boundaries, and vehicles must be parked inside the plots.
Their Characteristics
In homage to the area, the plots are named after some of our lagoons, Conceja, Tinaja, Tomilla, Del Rey, Lengua y Redondilla
Each one has distinct features, and choosing the right one based on your needs is essential for a memorable holiday.

CONCEJA
The Conceja plots are large, ranging from 90 to 100 m². They are characterised by their shade, square shape, and open layout. All plots have electricity connections with a maximum of 6 amps.
Maximum capacity: 10 people
DEL REY
These large plots, approximately 10 x 10 metres, offer natural shade from large trees, primarily poplars.
They are square and open-plan, with the added benefit of water and drainage connections, making them ideal for caravans or campers who prefer not to move.
All plots also have electricity connections with a maximum of 6 amps.
The location of these plots is notable, as many are near the swimming pool or along Laguna Street. (Note: Del Rey plots next to the swimming pool are not available all season.)
Maximum capacity: 10 people
TOMILLA
Tomilla plots are separated by hedges and shaded by mulberry trees. They feature water connections, drainage, and electricity connections at two or three points.
Located on one of the main streets of the campsite, they are close to the playground, bar-cafeteria, restaurant, supermarket, and toilet block.
Each plot is 7.5m deep and 10m wide, ideal for family tents or small caravans and motorhomes due to its easy access.
There are only 9 units of this plot type.
Maximum capacity: 10 people
LENGUA
These plots are 15 metres deep and 5 metres wide, with a total size ranging from 65 to 75 m².
They can be found in Calle Estrella, Laguna, and Guadiana (Calle Guadiana plots are not available all season). All plots have electricity connections with a maximum of 6 amps.
Maximum capacity: 8 people
TINAJA
These plots range from 60 to 75 m², with a depth of 7.5 metres and a width of 10 metres.
They are very comfortable and ideal for small caravans and tents. Most are located on Guadiana Street, Iniesta, Junco (not available all season), and Carpa Street.
All plots have electricity connections with a maximum of 6 amps.

REDONDILLA
At about 50 m², the Redondilla plots are the smallest, but they do not lack in quality. They offer good shade and a convenient location. All plots have electricity connections with a maximum of 6 amps, making them ideal for two people with a tent and a vehicle, either a motorbike or a car.
Maximum capacity: 4 people
* Due to the size of the campsite and the location of some plots, not all types are available year-round. Most Del Rey and Tinajas plots are only available during Easter and Summer.
* We recommend bringing extension leads as we cannot guarantee the proximity of the electricity hook-up at the bottom of the plots. Each electricity connection will be labelled with the corresponding plot number.
